Zak Bagans, renowned for his explorations into the supernatural, has recently expanded his collection at the Haunted Museum in Las Vegas by acquiring the original demon nun statue from the hit movie “The Conjuring 2.”
Sourced directly from the film’s set, this life-sized representation of Valak, the demonic nun, is set to be a permanent fixture among the museum’s already extensive collection of purportedly haunted items.
The demonic nun played a pivotal role in “The Conjuring 2,” which is based on the adventures of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a duo of real-life paranormal investigators. This particular statue was featured in various crucial scenes, most notably the chilling moment when it confronts Lorraine Warren, a character portrayed by Vera Farmiga.
Bagans, famed for his investigations on the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures,” has been gathering items with haunting reputations for more than ten years. He inaugurated the Haunted Museum in 2017, housing it with over 30 rooms of cursed artifacts, belongings of serial killers, and other items of paranormal interest.
The museum has quickly become a hit with enthusiasts of the supernatural, drawing numerous reports of peculiar occurrences and ghostly sightings from visitors. Bagans believes that the energies embedded in these objects can influence those who interact with them, enhancing the haunted ambiance of the museum.
With the addition of the Valak statue from “The Conjuring 2,” the museum is expected to attract even more visitors, elevating its reputation as a spine-chilling destination. Bagans is planning a special event soon to showcase this new, fearsome addition, offering devotees of both horror cinema and the supernatural an opportunity to experience its daunting presence firsthand.
