Travis Scott was observed departing from Miami via a private jet, just one day after his arrest for disorderly conduct.
Known by his given name Jacques Webster, the musician found himself in legal trouble after instigating fans to bypass security and storm the stage during his performance at the Rolling Loud festival. Footage captured at the event depicted Scott inciting the audience, using profanities against security and urging fans to access the stage.
Despite the legal mishap, Scott seemed upbeat as he boarded his jet on Friday. Dressed in a vivid orange hoodie and carrying a backpack, he was accompanied closely by his crew.
His destination was not disclosed, though he is slated to perform at the Governors Ball music festival in New York City on Sunday. The consequences of his recent arrest on his scheduled performance remain uncertain.
Scott secured his release from custody on Friday morning after posting a $1,500 bond and is set to face the charges in court on Monday.
Scott’s run-ins with the law have occurred before. He was arrested in 2015 for inciting a riot during an Arkansas concert and again in 2017, when he urged fans to leap from a balcony during a New York City performance.
Despite these controversies, Scott continues to thrive in his musical career. His 2018 release, “Astroworld,” earned both critical and commercial acclaim, and he is currently working on an upcoming album expected to launch later in the year.
