Sara Ramirez, widely recognized from her time on “Grey’s Anatomy,” has successfully completed her divorce from Ryan Debolt, her now-former husband. According to judicial records reviewed by E-News, the pair finalized their divorce settlement recently.
Married in July 2012, Ramirez initiated the divorce in July 2021, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause. The couple did not have any children.
The agreement stipulates an equal division of their shared assets and liabilities. Ramirez will retain her earnings from her acting and producing ventures, along with her personal possessions, such as jewelry and home furnishings. Debolt, on the other hand, will keep his business-related assets and interests.
Both Ramirez and Debolt have decided against seeking spousal support and have committed to keeping the specifics of their agreement private.
Ramirez has previously shared about her bisexuality in 2016 and is an active supporter of LGBTQ+ rights, often using her public influence to advocate for inclusivity and diversity.
Following her exit from “Grey’s Anatomy,” Ramirez’s career has included roles in TV series like “Madam Secretary” and “And Just Like That…” and voice work in animated shows including “Sofia the First” and “Vampirina.”
Debolt, a business analyst, has maintained a more private life compared to Ramirez. His future endeavors post-divorce remain unknown.
As of now, there has been no public comment from Ramirez or Debolt about their divorce or whether they intend to stay in touch moving forward.
