San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan was involved in a car accident on Tuesday evening, leaving him shaken but unharmed.

Witnesses reported that Sochan’s vehicle was involved in a collision with another car while traveling on a local highway. The crash took place around 9:30 PM, and emergency services were promptly alerted and attended the scene.

Sochan, 20, was the sole occupant of his car and received on-site medical attention for minor injuries before being cleared to leave. He did not need to be hospitalized.

The driver of the other car was also treated for slight injuries and was able to leave the scene independently.

Currently, investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing, but initial reports indicate that neither reckless driving nor intoxication were factors.

In his rookie year, chosen in the 2022 NBA draft, Sochan has been an important player for the Spurs, averaging 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per match.

Although the Spurs have not officially commented on the incident, Sochan’s agents have stated that he should be fit to participate in the upcoming game.

Previously, in 2022, Sochan had experienced another minor traffic incident—a fender bender—while in his hometown of Toronto.

The Spurs, an organization focused heavily on its players’ safety and health, is expected to keep a close watch on Sochan’s recovery in the next few days.

Support and good wishes from fans have been pouring in for Sochan, with many expressing hopes for his swift recovery.
