Amidst his humor, Garcia acknowledged the severity of the allegations. “We’re laughing but it’s a very serious matter,” he declared. “I just hope all the victims, you know, they get their due diligence because that would be truly unfortunate if those crazy things did happen.”
The 26-year-old boxer, currently on a suspension, also looked forward to settling scores in the ring, indicating a potential rematch with Haney. “If Haney is up for a real match, he should contact me. I’m ready to beat him again,” Garcia stated, alluding to their previous encounters and a future clash.
