Ric Flair, the iconic wrestling figure, and his wife Wendy Barlow have opted to end their marriage after a period of six years. Flair shared the update through a heartfelt Instagram post, where he expressed his appreciation for their shared moments and acknowledged the difficulties they encountered together.

“It’s important for everyone to understand that we have amicably decided to separate,” Flair mentioned. He particularly noted Wendy’s invaluable support during his 2017 health crisis, stating, “She was constantly by my side, and for that, I am eternally thankful.”

The pair had previously undergone a brief separation in 2022 only to reconcile shortly thereafter. However, according to Flair, the current decision to separate stems from the complexities of synchronizing their busy schedules, which ultimately strained their relationship.

“Currently, we are both focusing on individual projects and finding a balance between my commitments and hers has been challenging,” Flair said. He continued, “I sincerely wish her the utmost success in her endeavors and I am confident she wishes the same for mine.”

This separation marks the end of Flair’s fifth marriage, with previous marriages including Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark, and Jaqueline Beems. Despite the various challenges, Flair remains appreciative of his time with Wendy and holds positive wishes for her future pursuits.
