A woman has lodged a complaint with the police, accusing rapper Sage the Gemini, legally known as Dominic Woods, of sexually assaulting her in Chris Brown’s Los Angeles home. This alleged incident took place in September 2017.
The woman reportedly first connected with Sage on social media and subsequently received an invite to a gathering at Chris Brown’s house. Although she had a brief encounter with Chris Brown upon her arrival and was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, Brown was not in the vicinity when the alleged assault occurred.
She reported to law enforcement that she was assaulted by Sage after Brown had left the premises. The delay in bringing this incident to light was not specified, but it is now under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
At 32, Sage has publicly denied these accusations on social media. Statements from his team regarding these allegations have not been made public. Sage rose to fame with his 2013 triple platinum single “Gas Pedal,” and he also featured on Flo Rida’s chart-topping “G.D.F.R.”
Although not implicated in this particular case, Chris Brown has previously faced allegations related to violence against women. These issues are the focus of the soon-to-be-released documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence,” which is set to premier on October 27.
As the LAPD furthers its inquiry, Sage has yet to discuss the allegations with the police. The case continues to draw widespread attention, with many people eager for updates on the developments.
