The mother of rapper Polo G has initiated legal action by filing for a restraining order, alleging the artist committed acts of domestic violence. She is asking for legal measures to safeguard both herself and her daughter, Leilani, Polo G’s own child.
Court filings, recently made public, detail the mother’s accusations against Polo G, legally known as Taurus Bartlett. She recounts multiple incidents where she asserts that Bartlett physically assaulted her, resulting in physical injuries. The filings further claim that he has made threats toward both her and his daughter Leilani, sparking fears for their safety.
The requested restraining order, if granted, would enforce a distance of at least 100 yards between Polo G and the petitioners, and would also compel him to relinquish any firearms in his possession.
As of now, Polo G has not made any public comments regarding these allegations. The decision on the restraining order by the courts is also pending.
Previously, Polo G encountered legal troubles in 2021 when he was apprehended in Miami during a traffic stop, facing charges that included battery on a police officer. He secured his release from custody by posting bond.
