A fervent supporter of Nicki Minaj has initiated legal action against the famed rapper, alleging that she experienced humiliation and defamation due to Minaj’s purportedly false and harmful statements made about her on the internet.

Court papers reveal that the plaintiff, 32-year-old Tiffany Mitchell, is accusing Minaj of making deceptive and slanderous remarks about her on social platforms. Mitchell alleges that these comments by Minaj caused her considerable emotional anguish, tarnished her reputation, and resulted in isolation from her circle of friends and family.

The contentious episode is said to have unfolded in 2020 after Mitchell, who describes herself as a “super fan” of Minaj, attended one of the rapper’s performances in Los Angeles. Following the event, Mitchell alleges that she was confronted by Minaj’s security personnel who wrongfully branded her a “fake fan” and expelled her from the vicinity.

According to Mitchell, Minaj proceeded to post on Twitter, where she purportedly continued to disparage Mitchell, including labeling her a “fake fan” who merely sought attention by attending the concert. Mitchell contends that these remarks were not only baseless but also inflicted emotional suffering and sullied her reputation.

The lawsuit argues that Minaj’s tweets were deliberately crafted to damage Mitchell’s standing and left her feeling deeply embarrassed and slandered. Mitchell is pursuing an undisclosed sum in damages and has requested a jury trial.

As of now, representatives for Minaj have not issued a statement regarding the lawsuit. However, this matter is evolving and is bound to have profound consequences on the rapper’s public image and her relations with her fanbase.
