Kevin Spacey is preparing to auction his historic Baltimore residence, a Victorian property from the 19th century that he has owned for over a decade. The home is scheduled to be auctioned publicly on July 12. The property has been intermittently available for sale over the years and was last priced at $8.5 million.

In his role as the manipulative Frank Underwood on “House of Cards,” Spacey gained acclaim, but recently discussed the impending sale in a conversation with a well-known broadcaster.

Reflecting on his time at the property, Spacey mentioned, “I’ve enjoyed wonderful moments in that house, however, it’s time for me to move on. It holds many cherished memories, but now it’s time for a new chapter.”

In addition, Spacey responded to previously made allegations of sexual misconduct.

“I have previously expressed my apologies, and I want to reiterate that I’m genuinely sorry for any pain I’ve caused,” remarked Spacey. “I am dedicated to self-improvement and committed to redressing any past misdeeds.”

While keeping a relatively low profile following these allegations, Spacey has made his return to cinema with roles in the Italian movie “L’uomo che disegnò Dio” (The Man Who Drew God) and the soon-to-be-released “Peter Five Eight.”

The impending auction of Spacey’s Baltimore home presents a unique opportunity for someone to own a piece of history, featuring original wood finishing, decorative stained glass, and an expansive wrap-around porch. Nestled in a coveted neighborhood, the residence is conveniently near various shops, dining locales, and cultural sites.

The auction, set to commence with an opening bid of $100,000, will be conducted at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Prospective buyers can schedule an appointment to view the property ahead of the auction.

As Spacey parts ways with his Baltimore abode, he remains focused on advancing both his professional life and personal development.
