In a startling disclosure, Kel Mitchell, fondly remembered as a star from Nickelodeon, recently shared troubling experiences from the days he worked on the popular ’90s series “All That” under Dan Schneider, a major force at the network. Mitchell discussed instances of Schneider’s explosive behavior and an odd incident involving a closet during a recent media interaction.
Mitchell painted a picture of Schneider as someone with a quick temper, prone to loudly chastising the young actors on set. He recounted a particularly distressing episode where Schneider berated him in his dressing room, leaving him in tears. “I was just a kid, and I felt so small and powerless,” Mitchell expressed.
Another strange event Mitchell recounted involved Schneider secluding himself in his office closet for a considerable duration. This left Mitchell, along with his peers, puzzled and worried about Schneider’s mental state. After a while, Schneider came out, behaving as though nothing unusual had occurred.
These troubling revelations contribute to a series of accusations leveled against Schneider, painting a picture of a toxic atmosphere cultivated by him, particularly towards child actors on set. Nickelodeon severed ties with Schneider in 2018 following these increasing allegations.
As of now, Schneider has not publicly responded to Mitchell’s statements.
