As her husband faces legal challenges, Jessica Biel is immersing herself in her latest acting project. She was recently seen on location in Los Angeles, deeply engrossed in the production of her new series titled “Candy.”
In character, Biel was dressed in a pink dress complemented by a white cardigan as she shot scenes for the series. “Candy” draws inspiration from the chilling real-life events surrounding Candy Montgomery, a Texas housewife who notoriously killed her friend Betty Gore with an ax back in 1980.
Since news broke of her husband’s arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, following a physical altercation outside a bar in New Orleans, Biel has maintained a reserved presence. Her husband, Justin Timberlake, encountered police on a Tuesday earlier in the week.
Despite these legal distractions, Biel has remained focused on her professional responsibilities. She has been actively promoting “Candy” on her social platforms, sharing snapshots and videos from the filming process.
Married in 2012, Biel and Timberlake have two children together and have historically been supportive of each other’s professional endeavors, frequently making appearances at various industry events and supporting each other’s premieres.
Though Timberlake is currently dealing with his legal entanglements, Biel has opted to not make any public statements regarding the issue. Insiders close to the couple suggest she is supportive of her husband and concentrating on family priorities during this challenging period.
Biel not only stars in but also serves as an executive producer on “Candy,” scheduled to debut on Hulu later this year, where she portrays the main protagonist.
