Holly Madison, previously in a relationship with Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner, has initiated legal steps against Crystal Hefner, also an ex-partner of Hugh Hefner, over alleged remarks made on her podcast.

The controversy stems from statements Crystal Hefner shared on her podcast, “Girls Next Level,” in which she opened up about her own relationship with Hugh Hefner and commented on Madison’s time at the Playboy Mansion.

It has been reported that Madison’s attorneys have dispatched a cease and desist letter to Crystal Hefner, contending that the remarks in question were both untrue and slanderous. The legal notice also insists that Hefner retract her statements and extend an apology.

Both Holly Madison and Crystal Hefner featured on the reality series “The Girls Next Door,” which chronicled the lives of Hefner’s partners at the Playboy Mansion. Madison was a prominent member of the show for its first five seasons, whereas Hefner appeared in its concluding season.

In her 2015 memoir, “Down the Rabbit, Hole,” Madison candidly detailed her challenging experiences at the mansion, highlighting the oppressive and manipulative dynamics she endured.

The response from Crystal Hefner to the cease and desist letter remains to be seen, as her representatives have not made any official comment regarding the situation.

Previously, Madison has undertaken legal measures concerning her portrayal and experiences associated with her time at the Playboy Mansion. In 2019, she pursued legal action against Hugh Hefner’s estate, alleging coercion into unwarranted sexual encounters and claiming that her contributions to “The Girls Next Door” were not fairly remunerated. The case was subsequently settled beyond the courts.
