Alec Baldwin has announced his intention to file a lawsuit against the Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and the Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza, who were involved in the handling of the manslaughter case on the “Rust” film set where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot. Baldwin, who was holding the weapon that fired, killing Hutchins, has voiced his discontent over the case being dropped.
In a recent disclosure, Baldwin mentioned his plan to pursue legal action, accusing both the District Attorney and the Sheriff of misconduct in their investigation and the handling of the charges against him. He is seeking compensation for emotional distress and financial losses suffered due to the case.
